			<content:encoded><![CDATA[ The absence of the ol start and li value attributes from HTML4 Strict is one of the reasons why I have stuck with HTML4 Transitional.<br />

All is not lost.  According to the draft HTML5 Spec - or more precisely the W3C Editors Draft (as of 17 Jan 2010) document of differences between HTML4 and HTML5 <http://dev.w3.org/html5/html4-differences/#new-attributes>:<br />

"The value attribute for the li element is no longer deprecated as it is not presentational. The same goes for the start attribute of the ol element." ]]></content:encoded>
